Khalid Jawed is a renowned Urdu short story writer and novelist. The English translation of Jawed`s novel Nemat Khana, titled Paradise of Food, won the Fifth JCB Prize for Literature in 2022. His prominent works include Aakhri Dawat and Maut ki Kitab. His work has also been translated into Hindi and English.
