K V Manikandan is a novelist and short story writer. His debut novel, Moonnamidangal, won the DC Kizhakemuri Centenary Novel Award. His second novel is IIT Madras. Blue is the Warmest Colour and Bhagavathiyude Jada are his two short story collections. He also writes screenplays for movies.
