P F Mathews is a novelist, screenwriter, and short story writer. Adiyala Pretham, his novel, won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 2021. Mathews received the National Film Award in 2010 for his screenplay for the film Kutti Srank, as well as numerous state television and other awards. His notable literary works are Kadalinte Manam, Chavunilam, and Iruttil Oru Punyalan and Ea. Ma. Yau, and Athiran are his significant screenplays.
