Shiyas Mohammed is an educator and researcher. He held positions like State Resource Person in English, SCERT Kerala; Member of the Text Book Development Committee for the Government of Kerala; and English Communication Expert for various educational groups. He has also written an English language column for Madhyamam Daily and edited a book on National Education Policy.
