Subhash Chandran is an acclaimed short story writer and novelist. His prominent works include Manushyanu Oru Aamukham, Samudrashila, and Thalpam. He is a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award, the Odakkuzhal Award, and the Vayalar Award. His stories have been adapted into movies. A Preface to Man, the English translation of Manushyanu Oru Aamukham, published by HarperCollins in 2016, won the Crossword Book Award.
