Prof Latha Nair R is an educator and academic researcher. She has been a stalwart of the Department of English and Centre for Research at St. Teresa`s College, Ernakulam. She served as the NAAC coordinator for the Fourth Cycle of Accreditation and was a member of the steering committee for all Four Cycles of Accreditation. An academic luminary, her contribution to the field of research and consultation is immense. Her research articles were published in reputed journals and edited volumes. In addition to her academic achievements, she was a part of initiatives such as Radio Kochi FM 90, Community Radio Station, and a coordinator and animator for WISCOMP (Women in Security, Conflict Management, and Peace), an initiative of the Foundation for Universal Responsibility by His Holiness Dalai Lama. She is also a TATA Trust 2016 nominee, an Executive Member of Sir Dorabji TATA Trust Hospital in Chottanikkara, a Trustee of the TATA Pilgrims Society, and a Board Member of Project Venda—Say No To Drugs. Prof. Nair is the recipient of numerous awards and honours, including the Saahas Prerna Award. She is currently working at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
