MP Mohanachandran is a retired Superintendent of Police with the Crime Branch. He investigated famous and controversial criminal cases, and in 2008, while handling the Chelembra Bank Robbery case, he was the Circle Inspector of Police, Wandoor. In recognition of his commendable services, he has received many awards, including the President’s Police Medal and the Chief Minister’s Police Medal.
