Indu Menon is a short story writer and novelist. Her important works include Janafress Oru Kodiya Kamukan, Kappalinekkurichoru Vichithrapusthakam, The Lesbian Cow, and Sangh Parivar. The short story collection, The Lesbian Cow, was translated into English by Westland Books. She received numerous honours, including the Kendra Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar and the Kerala Sahitya Akademi’s Gita Hiranyan Endowment Award.
