Anil Devassi is a writer hailing from Thrissur. His first novel Ya Ilahi Times won the 2018 DC Literary Award. The work has also received second place in Karur Neelakanta Pillai Memorial Short Story Competition organized by the state government as part of the International Literary Festival. He has received awards including the Kalakaumudi Story Award.
