Unni Balakrishnan is a senior journalist and media person. He formerly served as the Chief of News of Mathrubhumi Channel. He has bagged Abudhabi Kala Award, Dubai Asia Vision Award, Delhi Malayalee Award and many other honours for his excellence in media sector. Unni is the recipient of the Kerala State Award for the Best Interviewer in 2015. He has authored the book Prayamakunnilla Njan.
