P.S. Rafeeq is a notable screenwriter and lyricist. Saddaminte Barber, Kaduva (short story collections), Amen (screenplay) are his important works. He also wrote the scripts for the films Nayakan, Trissivaperur Kliptam and Thottappan, of which Thottappan won the 50th State Film Award for Best Screenplay. He has penned songs for many films.
