K.S.Venkitachalam is a translator and critic from Kerala. He has translated 24 books from Tamil and 5 books from English to Malayalam. Kamba Ramayanam, Short stories of Perumal Murugan, The inspiring life of my Mother by Shehnaz Hussien, Kamal Hasan's Screenplay: Viswaroopam and My Gita are some of his translated works.
He has won the Kendra Sahitya Akademi award for translation (2017) and Tamil Nadu Nalli Chinnasami-Thessai Ettum award for translation (2017).
