Unni Balakrishnan is a journalist and writer. He began his career as a sub-editor at Kalakoumudhi and transitioned to visual media by joining Asianet News. He served as the Chief of News at Mathrubhumi News. He received numerous awards and honours including the Kerala State Award for the Best Interviewer in 2014. His book, Prayamakunnilla Njan, was published by DC Books.
