Writer and Cultural activist, Dr.Azeez Tharuvana is the Assistant Professor & Head of the Department of Malayalam at Farook College, Calicut. He has written 17 books in Malayalam including Wayanadan Ramayanam, Ethrayethra Ramayanangal, Basheer Phalithangal and Pranayavum Dhyanavum.
He is the recipient of the Ambedkar National Excellency Award.
