V P Joy is a Malayalam poet, researcher and administrator. He is known for his writings on the energy policy, philosophy of education, mind and metaphysics. He has also written two novels, several poetry compositions, and translations. His major works include Ramanathapuram, Nimishajalakam, and Arivaazham. A qualified bureaucrat, Joy currently serves as the Chief Secretary of Kerala.
