S Kalesh is a renowned poet. His works include Aattakkari, Sabdamahasamudram, Hairpin Bend, and Final Round. In 2015, he presented the poem "Sabdamahasamudram" as a part of the Poetry Installation in Kochi. He won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi`s Kanakasree Award in 2017.
