E Santhosh Kumar

E Santhosh Kumar is a short story writer and novelist. In 2006, he won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, for his short stories, Chavukali, and in 2012, for his novel, Andhakaranazhi. His children’s publication, Kakkaradesathe Urumbukal, won the best children’s novel award instituted by the Kerala State Children’s Literature Institute in 2011. His notable works are, Galapagos, Chidambara Rahasyam, Narakangalude Upama and Jnanabharam. Andhakaranazhi was translated into English as Island of Lost Shadows by Niyogi Books, and A Fistful of Mustard Seeds is a translation of twelve of his short stories.
