Rupika Chawla is an art conservator. She has restored several of Ravi Varma’s paintings. She is also a curator and gives training in conservation. Rupika has written extensively on contemporary Indian art. Surface and Depth: Indian Artists at Work, A. Ramachandran: Art of the Muralist, Icons of the Raw Earth, and Raja Ravi Varma: Painter of Colonial India are among her works.
