Sangeetha Sreenivasan is a novelist who writes both in Malayalam and English. She is the daughter of renowned Malayalam writer and social activist, Sarah Joseph. Her much acclaimed debut novel, Acid, won her the Thoppil Ravi award in 2017. She has also translated Elena Ferrante's Days of Abandonment into Malayalam. Her latest novel, Salabham Pookkal Aeroplane, was published in September 2018. She also translated the novel Budhini, written by her mother into English.
