Amanda Bell

Amanda Bell is an irish writer. Her collections -Undercurrents (Uxbridge, UK, Alba Publishing, 2016), which is a psycho geography of Irish rivers in haiku and aibun, won second prize in the HSA Kanterman Merit Book Awards and was shortlisted for the Touchstone Distinguished Books Award; and First the Feathers (Connemara, Doire Press, 2017).
Her poetry was commended for the Patrick Kavanagh Award in 2015 and 2016, and won the William Allingham Prize in 2015.
Her children’s book is The Lost Library Book, illustrated by Alice Durand Wietzel (Oxford, The Onslaught Press 2017).
As a freelance editor, her publications include Maurice Craig: Photographs (Dublin, Lilliput, 2012); and The Lion Tamer Dreams of Office Work: An Anthology of Poetry by the Hibernian Writers (Alba Publishing, 2015).
